♡Small Business Saturday Purchases♡

Hello everybody!!! image
This post is about my Small Business Saturday purchases!♡
I absolutely love the idea of shopping at locally owned businesses and support
ing them! Every little store is unique in it's own way. The items that you find at local stores can't be found in big name franchises, which is what I love about them!

The first store that I stopped at was Rhythm Records, which is a store that sells new and used vinyls, CDs,cassette tapes, and refreshments. There is also a tattoo shop in the back()
Here I bought six used albums for a little under $8.

The next store I went to was a small boutique called Lot 2029, where I bought some super soft winter printed leggings for $7 and a mini Blue Spruce scented candle by Kringle Candle Company that I bought for $3.

The last place that I purchased something from was a little comic book store called Action Jackson Comics!♡ I recently discovered this store and I am so glad that I did! This store is extremely small, but I absolutely love it and sorta geek out a bit.
Anyways, this is the comic that I bought!(for $4) I was literally so excited when I found it because I love Edgar Allan Poe! He is my favorite writer.♡
There was another Edgar Allan Poe comic of the Fall of the House of Usher, which I chose not to get.

I also went to another boutique called One World Imports, but I didn't buy anything there. I also went and got a Christmas tree today as well, so I've been quite busy!
Anyways, that's all for now! Thanks for reading and enjoy the rest of your day!

♡Black Friday Haul♡

Hello everybody!image

This post is about my mini Black Friday haul!♡ I didn't go out early this year, and I didn't go to as many places because I'm going shopping tomorrow for Small Business Saturday! image

The first place I went to was Old Navy (I went shopping along with my mom and little sister and my mom needed to go there and I ended up buying some things.) I purchased some plaid pajama shorts for $7 and some super duper cute slippers for $5.♡

These shorts are super soft and comfy! (I'm wearing them right now♡)

I am also super in love with these knit slippers! (Aren't they adorable!?) They are also super duper soft and of course, mega comfy.
♡ They're perfect for just lounging around the house on a chilly day while watching movies and drinking hot cocoa.

The next store I went to was TJ Maxx.♡ Unfortunately, they weren't having any Black Friday sales because everything is technically on sale because it's all discounted designer products! image Anyways, TJ Maxx is where I bought this super cute faux leather jacket for $30!♡ I've been wanting it for a while and I finally decided to buy it and I love it so so much and it looks super cute on me, PLUS it is super warm!

Here is a picture of me wearing this jacket:

The last place I bought something from was Hobby Lobby, which is where I purchased two Pinkie Pie ornaments ($5 each) for my little pink Christmas tree that I put up in my room this time of year.

Aren't these just the cutest!?
♡ I've been wanting to get some My Little Pony ornaments for my tree and I was so excited when I found these! The whole isle was pink and it had such cute decorations!

That's all for now! Thanks for reading!

Candles!

Hi everybody!
This post is about my favorite seasonal candles!

First off, lets talk about Illume Candles. All of their candles are made out of 100% natural soy blend with beeswax, essential oils, and cotton wick. You can't go wrong with all natural materials!♡ So far I have had two candles from Illume Candles: the Cactus Verde and Heirloom Pumpkin.
I've been following their Instagram account for a while (@illumecandles) and I got extremely excited when I came across a few of their candles at Barnes and Noble! I have also seen them at a store in Minnesota called the Electric Fetus.

You can buy the Cactus Verde Here!
The first Illume candle I ever bought was the Cactus Verde Essential Mini from Barnes and Noble for $9. The fragrance of the Cactus Verde is a bright blend of cassia, pink sea salt, and wild geranium with a hint of avocado. This mini tin candle smells delightful and really brightened up my room (and made it smell lovely too!)image
Since then, I have used up the entire candle and I am now using the cute tin as a pot for one of my miniature Topsy Turvy succulents!
You can purchase the Heirloom Pumpkin here!

I currently have the wonderful Heirloom Pumpkin Large Tin burning in my room right now and I absolutely LOVE it! I also bought this candle from Barnes and Noble for $8 (it was on sale as part of their Halloween items!) This candle is definitely better than any Yankee Candle or Bath and Body Works candle for sure! The fragrance of the Heirloom Pumpkin is a dark brown sugar and cinnamon spice that are deliciously blended with creamy pumpkin puree and gilded with notes of cassia root and warm vanilla sugar. This scent is seriously SO AMAZING! It is most definitely a must-have for fall! It captures the essence of autumn and leaves a lingering feeling of warm pumpkin delight.image

Please check out Illume's website here!

Next let's talk about Bath and Body Works' mason jar candles! I currently own four mason jar candles from Bath and Body Works: Pumpkin Carving, Pumpkin Apple, which are both from their autumn collection, Marshmallow Fireside, and Sparkling Icicles, which are both from their winter collection. Bath and Body Works first came out with these mason jar candles along with the release of their fall collection and I absolutely LOVE them! You can buy two mason jar candles for $15. (Their original price is $12.50 each!) The two for $15 is a great deal and you can get more than one fragrance if you like!
The mason jar candles that I bought from their fall collection are so amazing!
♡ I love the pumpkin scents!image

First off: Pumpkin Carving! The fragrance is a blend of pumpkin, brown sugar, and nutmeg, which is perfect to have lit while carving pumpkins!

You can purchase Pumpkin Carving here!
This candle never gets overpowering and leaves the room with a scent that just screams Halloween!

Secondly: Pumpkin Apple! Unfortunately, Bath and Body Works do not sell this candle anymore because it was for a limited time only along with their fall collection, but that doesn't mean that I still can't tell you about it! The Pumpkin Apple is literally one of my absolute favorite fragrances for fall! Its fragrance is a blend of pumpkin, nutmeg, brown sugar, cinnamon and apples, which reminded me of apple cider almost. This candle couldn't get any better and it always makes me want to go to the pumpkin patch.

Marshmallow Fireside 6 oz. Mason Jar Candle - Slatkin & Co. - Bath & Body Works
Marshmallow Fireside can be purchased here!
Now onto the mason jar candles that I purchased from Bath and Body Works' winter collection! First, I'm going to tell you about my personal favorite: Marshmallow Fireside! A sweet-toasty end to a snowy, fun-filled day, toasted marshmallows and sumptuous vanilla cream blend with the comforting aroma of rich smoldering woods. Doesn't that sound amazing?Unfortunately, when I had this candle burning the other day, its fragrance was way too strong and overpowering, which is something that I have experienced with other Bath and Body Works candles as well. image
Sparkling Icicles 6 oz. Mason Jar Candle - Slatkin & Co. - Bath & Body Works
Purchase Sparkling Icicles here!

Lastly, Sparkling Icicles! This is another mason jar candle that can be found in Bath and Body Works' 2013 winter collection as well! As sparkling as the ice at the local skating pond, this fragrance features a citric bouquet, bergamot, and a touch of holiday moss.♡ I haven't actually gotten a chance to use this candle yet because there hasn't been snow on the ground and I wand to save it for the perfect snow day! (Its odd that there's not feet of snow here because I live in North Dakota and we usually have TONS of snow by Halloween!)

Thank you to everyone who reads! I extremely appreciate it!
